Philadelphia Phillies first baseman and reigning National League MVP Ryan Howard has teamed with Verizon to help consumers select one of the company’s bundles of voice, Internet, TV and wireless services.
Howard will reportedly serve as Philadelphia region Verizon home run ambassador. Featured in Verizon’s promotional materials, he will make personal appearances throughout the region promoting Verizon’s communications and entertainment services, available all together on one bill from Verizon.
According to Phillip H. Brown, Verizon vice president of sales and local marketing for Pennsylvania/Delaware, Ryan Howard is the perfect fit for Verizon.
“Just as Ryan brings the power of his bat to the ball park every game, Verizon brings the power of its unequalled network to its customers every day,” said Brown in a statement to the press.
Verizon’s home run ambassador for Philadelphia region will help raise visibility of the many communications and entertainment packages available for Verizon customers - packages of two, three or four services that include wireless calling from Verizon Wireless.
These offers will provide Verizon’s consumers significant savings and the security of knowing that it’s all backed by Verizon’s superior network and world-class customer service.
The six combinations of plans are offered in nearly all Verizon’s markets as Verizon Double Freedom, Verizon Triple Freedom and Verizon Unlimited Freedom. These plans let customers mix and match home services with wireless service from Verizon Wireless.
“Verizon’s combination plans crack the code on simplicity and value and provide customers with outstanding services and savings,” concluded Brown.
